Local RSPCA Branches help Re-build appeal 30/01/2008 Our grateful thanks go to our friends at RSPCA Nuneaton and District Branch and RSPCA Rugby and District Branch who have pledged funds towards our Animal Centre Re-build Appeal. These local independent branches, who board animals at the centre from the Nuneaton and Rugby areas, have pledged a total of £62,000 from their own funds to support our appeal. Appeal's director Kay Brandist is delighted by their genorosity. " Raising money is always challenging however worthy the cause and it means a lot to have the support of two of our neighbouring branches as we attempt to raise over half a million pound to re-build our animal centre. Both branches already support the Coventry centre through boarding fees, fundraising and by supporting activities and events and we would like to express our thanks to them for being so positive and pro-active towards our appeal. Each RSPCA branch is self-funding and relies on local support to raise sufficient funds to carry out animal welfare activities within a given geographical area. |
