Pantomime Beast Shows His True Love Of Animals
27/11/2009
Next week the RSPCA Coventry and District Branch will open the doors of a new charity shop in the city.

Hot from the Belgrade Theatre, the Beast from the pantomime Beauty and the Beast will do his bit for the neglected animals of the midlands by officially opening the shop.

The shop at 184a Ansty Road, Wyken, Coventry will open on Tuesday 1 December at 12 mid-day.

"This is our fourth charity shop in Coventry and we are all excited about this new venture," said RSPCA Coventry Animal Centre Manager Glenn Mayoll.

"It costs £750 per day to run the centre and all the money raised in our shops goes directly towards caring for the sick, neglected and unwanted animals in our animal home. So anyone who donates or buys from our shop is directly helping animals in the midlands."

"We welcome both donations of stock and customers for our new shop and thank all the loyal customers we currently have and look forward to some new ones," said Glenn.

The shops opening hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 and 9-4.30 on a Saturday.
