Newspaper Appeal30/01/2008 The Coventry Observer has backed our rebuild appeal and has helped raise over £800. For the past 2 weeks the newpaper has run a story on the state of the kennels in the centre and the problems we have encounted. Each time they have included a donation form which have poured in every day since with cheques ranging from £3 to £60. Centre Manager, Nikki Smith says "We are so grateful to the Observer and its readers for being so generous and giving to the appeal. Every penny really does help and will go towards rebuilding our centre. But we still need more..." The centre rehomes over 1,000 animals every year, far more than any other RSPCA centre in the region. If the centre fails to raise the money it is likely to close within the next 5 years. |
