Exciting Times - New Charity Shop
16/03/2008
New challenges lie ahead as we embark on our third charity shop. Over the past 4 years the branch has already opened two successful charity shops in both Earlsdon and Allesley which have proved a vital source of income for the animal centre. The continued expansion of the charity shops within Coventry is incredibly positive in ensuring the animal centres future as they are able to provide a stable income towards the running of the centre.

The branch has just signed a lease on the new shop which will be in Parkville Highway, Holbrook’s and lots of work is about to begin in getting the shop ready for its planned opening during RSPCA week at the end of April. The shop fitters should be arriving in early April to begin their work and then it will be all hands on deck to get the shop completed in time for RSPCA week.

The new shop is going to be in urgent need of volunteers to help with the day to day running of this new venture there are various roles that will need to be filled. For more information on becoming a charity shop volunteer please call on 024 76 713717 or 024 76 677273 alternatively pop into one of our existing charity shops on Winsford Ave, Allesley or Providence St, Earlsdon

We will continue to keep you updated on how the renovations go over the next few weeks. Watch this space
